Goodbye my ‘child’!!!
Yesterday was my last Little Penang Street Market (LPSM) as its coordinator. It was tiring but fun. My heart ached because many memories were made and spent there. The good, the bad, the funny and the interesting. 10 months have passed since I joined the team of wonderful Penangites, we had 9 LPSMs in UPR, 1 for the Lions’ Club and another 3 for IJM. Wow, 9 months of LPSM!!!! It is like being pregnant and now I have just given birth to a baby. Well, LPSM is my ‘baby’.
It was my bread and butter for the longest of time. It was practically my life, I dragged almost everyone I knew into it. Now, I am giving my ‘baby’ to a new coordinator, who hopefully is able to do better.
Will be posting up pictures of my last market soon. Plus the fab send off I got from both vendors and committee alike.
Now have to concentrate on the play and my move to KL. Tired arrrrrrrrrr

I wish I could have attended while you were coordinator. I miss Malaysia so much right now. Don’t get me wrong, I love it here in Geelong, but sometimes I think that my life would be on the track I envisioned that it would be on if I were back home. Maybe. I don’t know. Oh well… no regrets, right?
we’ve been through 12 little penangs (including ijm), 9 months of lpsm. seems fast doesn’t it?
Tash: Hey, when you come back we can still go to the market together. This time I can SHOP!!!! Hahaha!!
Yu Jean: Yeah, I know. How fast time flew right? Sigh… My Chickadees!!!
Oh, it’s on!
