With the experience from the Astro-NIDA program, it looks like I will go back to acting soon. It might just be theater but I do not mind. I have been dormant for about a year now from the stage.

The interesting thing is, a colleague of mine claims that he will go back to the gym and get in shape if I go back to acting.

Well, I consider my training a short stint in acting. That means he will have to pay up on the other end right?

Hopefully, I will see a healthier and leaner colleague when I go back to work next week.

As much as my friends tell me that everyone should let time and fate take its course when it comes to dating. I have set up a few general rules to abide by.

1. Never date a friend’s sibling
2. Never date a friend’s or a sibling’s ex
3. Never be the third party in the relationship

Call me anal or whatever you like. But the 3 rules above can really help.

As for me, I set up my own 20 commanments of dating. This however, only applies to me, so I shall not torture the rest of you with them.

Following are the pictures that I have been taking or are pictures of me.
However, I now only have the time to upload them today.
They are between 2-3 months old. But still good… No… I mean GREAT!!!!

Enjoy!!

17/11/07

An unexpected phone call delivered the news.

“Congratulations, you were chosen!!”

Now, with the rise of tricksters peddling lies, trying to CONvince you that you have won a milllion ringgit has made me wary. I have received 2 such phone calls before.

However, this time it was different. I did enter this.

Early of the month, I submitted my essay on why I should be chosen to participate in this chance of a lifetime workshop. Early this week, I received an e-mail stating that I was unsuccessful. So I just shrugged and continued with life.

On Friday, a call came. I was actually on the waiting list. Lucky me.

Now, I had to chose between work and this. Thank goodness for wonderful employers and supportive colleagues. We managed to work out a schedule and I am on my way for 2 weeks of Screen Acting training.

Thanks to Astro. Australia’s National Institute of Dramatic Arts will be here in KL. Only selected participants are allowed to join.

I can’t wait!

If you are wondering, how great NIDA is.

Here are its former graduates:

Hugo Weaving – LOTR, Matrix and V for Vendetta
Mel Gibson – Braveheart, The Patriot, The Passion of Christ
Cate Blanchett – LOTR
Bahz Luhrmann – Moulin Rouge
