The Video Adventures

My friend finds really interesting videos when she is free.
Thanks to her, I have come across these videos.
Combining Classical and hip hop. Not bad huh?
Here is a treat for Nintendo fans
It’s over

The KLPAC open day was great.
Yet again, I have no pictures to show for them. Unless some kind samaritan wants to contribute to this entry. Or even better, offer to buy me a digital camera.
Anyway, I lost my voice talking so much to the people I have not seen in ages. Plus I met a lot of new people.
Luckily, I do not have to teach tomorrow. Haha!!!
Niters.
Needy…

When I was younger, I was taught to help the needy.
I was told that I should help the ones who needed my help.
I was told that I should put others’ needs and wants before my own.
I was told that I was blessed and in return do my duty.
But no one told me that some people need more than just material things.
No one told me that some people need more than just advice.
No one told me that some people need more than just a shoulder to cry on.
No one told me that some people need more than just a friend.
The needy becomes greedy.
The needy becomes clingy.
The needy becomes crazy.
The needy becomes a part of me.
Now here is my message to the needy who has now been too dependent of me.
All you see before you is all of me,
All that I can give you is the best of me,
This is the real me.
I can be there for you,
I can advice you,
I can help you,
I can have compassion for you.
But I need this;
Free me, take me not for granted,
Appreciate me, cause one day I might be gone,
Free yourself, cause I can’t do it for you.
Whoops!!

Today, I had to clean up the storage room connected to my office.
Thank goodness for the staff I have helping me.
I just discovered that my former upper body strength is no longer in existence. I found it so hard to move boxes and shelves around that I am worried for my own health. Will I soon become a blob of a human, big enough to battle Jabba the Hutt.
So perhaps this is another addition to my CNY resolution.
Get my upper body strenght back.
Too soon

When I first heard of Brad Renfro’s death, it was on E!
My first though was, “Damn, he is just my age and he is dead?”
But when reports claim him to be a drug addict, somehow I was not too shock. With the young Hollywood scandal and addiction mania filling up our airwaves and media space, you would wonder how the entertainment business can still function.
The news of Heath Ledger’s death, came to me as a real shocker. I was driving to work with Fly FM’s Pagi Show blaring out of my speakers. The news came. I thought it was a sick joke. But it was very much true.
Words cannot explain how I feel when 2 young stars’ life end too soon.
It makes me realize (although, I admit that I might forget), that we should always live our lives to the fullest.
Heath’s next and final movie will be out this summer. I am not sure if the box office sales of the Batman installation will go through the roof because of the movie or due to Heath’s death.
I am now wondering how Michelle is going to tell Matilda Rose about her daddy’s death. Does Matilda even understand what the fuss is all about?
Once again, death comes too soon
