I have always wanted a makeover. But never actually had the guts to go do it. As usual, I procrastinated for the longest of time. Being a part time actress, this is not very good. Anyhow, I have been postponing my comeback for too long. So the first thing I had to do was to get my headshots done. I have not had a proper headshot for ages.
So finally, last Saturday after breakfast with J at La Bodega, Pavillion, I bought a voucher from Chanel to claim my makeover.
I first had to sit for a short facial cleansing by one of the staff. Very sweet girl.
Then I was introduced to Dennis, my makeup artist from Korea. Dennis cannot speak English, so we had an interpreter in between. Dennis commended me for my good skin but then scolded me for not treating it well. Whoops!!!
Anyhow, I had about 7 layers of products applied to my face before they even start.
1. Moisturiser
2. Eye gel
3. Sunblock
4. Pearl creme
5. Liquid foundation
6. Concealer
7. Spray on Serum
After that, my eyes were done. A fake jawline. Lips and cheeks.
All that took a good 75 mins. We then move on to the 20 mins of hairstyling. My hair was all ‘poofed’ up. Personally, I did not like it. My face is round and the hair somehow emphasized its roundness.
After hair, I went to a 5 min photo shoot. We took about a dozen pics and I only chose 2. These were the good ones.
Well here is the finish product.

So what do you think?
I know it looks very natural. But it is real hardwork just to look ‘naturally’ beautiful.
Special thanks to Ashley in UK who help to convert my picture file into a jpeg. Miss you gal!
