Adeline Ong has been involved in the training and development field since 2007. Professionally, she works as a Cultural Orientation Officer and Trainer, helping refugees prepare for resettlement to a host country.
Armed with a Bachelor’s in Fine Art – Acting and Directing from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang; she has been actively involved with the theater scene since 2003. Apart from USM, Adeline had a 6 months stint in Berea College Kentucky as a student ambassador. She has also completed the Screen Actor’s short courses by the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, Australia sponsored by ASTRO in 2007 and 2008. She is also one of the core members of a young theatre group, Electric Minds Project.
On top of that, she conducts various workshops in creativity, speech and drama to groups ranging from pre-schoolers to old age pensioners, from refugees to educators. Her written work has appeared in various publications and newspapers, both locally and internationally.
